She creeps towards the sleeping valley
Licks the dew-less grass
Embraces the shivering willows
Dances among the towering trees

The crickets chirp cheerily, welcoming their heavenly mother
The leaves melt with joy as she warmly kisses them
The owl hoots heartily to catch her attention
But the valley droops in sorrow when...

Mist, the loving mother of the now-active valley
Flees as she sees the jealous Sun beaming dangerously

I love nature and so I decided to write a poem about mist using personification.
