The world may be full of difficulties, but the trick is to use those difficulties to grow.

The setting sun, waved goodbye to its place in the sky, as it receded for the night
Nocturnal animals emerge, owls preparing for a hunt, deer prancing in the cool grass
A wolf’s howl echoed in the distance, bouncing against the mountain walls
Night is a beautiful and mysterious time, the appearance of a full moon made the moment complete
Steps were heard, animals flee, and a lone child came forth, withered and covered with grime
A pitiful wail escapes his lips, begging for his mother
That sad lost child, lonely lost child, whom only wishes to return to his home
For so many, night is an adventure, for this child, it is a nightmare
Dark sky swelling with clouds, the meticulous roar of distant thunder
A chill runs down the spine of the trembling child
Tears dripped dropped along with the falling rain
A whispered name in the breeze brought fear and unease
The whisper grew louder and louder until a shout was heard beyond
Tears of happiness flowed and the child ran towards the forgiving voice
Off into to arms of a loving mother, he cried, laughed, and finally felt at home

I wrote this piece in creative writing class, it was an activity to use as many verbs as possible, do you think I passed? :)
