A color, any color
One, two, three, four, five
Your dance with fate’s been delayed
For gone is the blue fortune-teller.

Gone in the twists and the turns of the wind
Flown past the hurt and the sin
Through distant lands, past tired eyes
Waving goodbye to the hat in the sky
For gone is the blue fortune-teller.

Torn to pieces in the above
Twirling in whirl-winds,
Alighting down to the earth
Not to be found again
For gone is the blue fortune-teller.
