Javier gathers his cleaning supplies
That’s how he starts his day in one of the most
Prestigious building in Chicago the sears towers
Now the Willis tower
He grabs a white almost see through bottle
Sprays it on the tinted windows grabs the huge window wipers
Pulls down the water and cleans off the liquid
With a neon orange shamwow
Sweeps the floor with his giant broom
You can hear the green bristles sweeping back and forth
There’s no noise what so ever
Javier is the only one there doing after hour cleaning
After long hours of sweating from the hard working he
Does trying to keep the place spot less and flawless as his boss expects it to be
He puts all equipment away and calls it a night of successful cleaning

Standing outside getting hit by cold breeze in middle of autumn in the windy city
Looks left and right
Patiently waiting for his cab usually his roommate Miguel gives him a ride
But today was one of those days had to take the taxi
Bight yellow lights shine in his eyes hurting them
Waves his hand as a sign to stop to the blue 303 taxi
Looking out the window not much to see
Its only 3 a.m on a Monday
Streets are almost deserted
A couple cars light shine here and there
Not much to look at
Javier rest his head on the seats head rest
Closing his red, tiered, watery eyes

Opens the door to his apartment
Kicks off his black non slip shoes
Hangs his coat on a hanger put on a closet
Filled with trophies, medals and pictures
He sights pulls out a beat up soccer ball
A blue with whites stripes and a black smudge witch happened to look like a signature
A couple tears run down his face
As he tosses the ball back an forth between his hands
He remembers him self-playing in the field and the crowd going crazy
Closes his eyes and memories of a car accident pop out

Reminds so much of my family members, some of which work by cleaning houses, banks, etc. Very Richard Blanco. I love it.
