Rain and Sun
How does one compare
The rain to the sun?
It doesn't seem fair,
for one starts when the other is done.
Warmth and majesty
Our sun brings,
But a sunburn tragedy
Follows on the wings.
Rain brings cool relief
And sleepy days are nigh.
But through popular belief,
Rain is a dripping lie.
Incomparable
These two separate things,
Equally good and terrible,
Tarnished gold rings.
