Good vs Bad
I was the girl
That wore her heart on her sleeve
I was the one
That cried for everyone else
That let people in
Forgave them
When they didn't deserve it
But now
I'm someone else
Now I'm harder
I don't trust people
I see the bad
I judge harshly
And feel less empathy
But it wasn't the boys
That stole my heart
And manipulated me
That changed me
You did this
Because I thought you were safe
You were supposed to be
The good guy
You bought me diamonds
And wrote me poetry
You spent time with me
And came at my beckon call
You were the one
That was supposed to be
The right choice
So now I'll go back
To the bad boys
Because in the end
They treated me
Better than you did
