Scarred
If you were me and I were you
Would you still tell me what to do
You boss me around and expect me to snap
You scar me with names and emotional crap
You think that you’re funny, your words cause no harm
And here in my head this should cause alarm
But here in my head I believe all you say
I’ve called myself worse and driven away
The part of my brain that makes me like me
So the me that you see is not what I should be
