A twilight sky
Surrounded by the emerald blades of grass I rest my head onto the damp ground, my porcelain skin almost glowing in the subtle light of this morning's sun.
My breathing slows and it feels as though I am slowly sinking into my dreams, a mellow breeze faintly tosses my hair away from my pale face as I close my eyes...
Suddenly I grasp the dense grass impatiently as my mind rapidly overflows with thoughts, like a waterfall filled with sharp rocks...the air no longer tingles my senses with the smell of flowers, only sorrow lingers in its once soft music, a reminder of the damage my wandering heart has caused.
All of this happening, all of this happening under the innocent watch of my watercolour twilight sky.
