"Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present." --Marcus Aurelius

as you move over your home the earth
letting the light of your self scatter little brown shadows
in the wake of your little brown feet
I will watch you
and smile at the stretch of each lean muscle in your body
as you reach for your origin the sun
holding in your palms the tiny seeds of giants and leaving them
in the wake of giants past
I will admire you
and the newness you create for yourself
as you are caressed by your lover the air
breathing in the essence of the world that adores you
and breathing out tiny puffs of infinity
I will feel you
and relish the cool touch of your newborn wonder
as you walk with your family the stars
dancing with the colour and beauty of a hundred thousand light years
letting yourself form and reform in cadence with your universe
I will walk with you
and hold your brilliant heart in mine.

I know that the moon is often refered to as Celeste when being described as a female. Anywho, in this poem, I want to say you're in love with it. Or...you're describing some person you love as the moon. Imagery is mind blowing here. Just dazzling. And I don't use that word frequently...or at all. Unless, something is dazzling. And the last two lines: "I will walk with you/ and hold your brilliant heart in mine" made me awe. Which again I don't normally do. Great poem.
