That Thing Called Suicide

There’s a thing,
An awful thing,
Its name is suicide.
And its rate is mounting,
Its evil surrounding
As time goes by and by.
Claiming the lives
Of teens as their life dives,
They feel the need to say goodbye.
It’s not cowardly, as some might say
Not representing one bad day,
But an existence of misery and lies.
So be kind and reach out,
To avoid that thing
Called suicide.
