On an Overcast December Day
It’s an overcast December day
A jacket not necessary,
But one might like one.
On this cloudy
December day, how many have died?
How many birthed
Into this world,
This screwed up world?
How many are crying?
How many are laughing?
Is anyone caring?
How many are being cruel
To innocent souls?
Who is blissful?
Who has fallen on hard times?
I do not know anything,
Except for one might like a jacket
On this overcast December day.
