From the deepest parts of my heart lie poems I have yet to start
laced with I love you's and many thanks
what do I need to fill in the blanks?
One who is happy, honest and pure
though he himself may not be so sure
tis he who will gracefully guide me
through metaphor or allegor maybe even a simile
And finally when all is done
we'll read it together as our hearts become one
with an understanding and a kiss
we'll realize it's not just love, but within the kiss exists bliss that neither he nor I dare to resist
