Too Late
I told you I know your games
I saw through them all along
But in the end I gave you a chance
For me, not anyone else
In the end they were right
You hurt me twice
And now you come before me and ask me for another chance
To right the things you did
But you don't even know what I know
I know it all
I love you but you hurt me
And you ask me again
But I'm finally fine
The gunshot through my chest is gone
The gaping hole closed
And I wonder if its worth it
Going through that pain again
'Cause I know in the end
You'll do it again
'Cause I know your games
Always have
So don't come to me crying
When I say its too late
'Cause I gave you your chance
To prove them wrong, to prove me wrong
And you blew it
So don't come crying to me
'Cause if you really meant it
You would have shown me then
And now its just too late
