I can remember the bustling people in the faddish store;
We made our way to the dressing room.
Once inside, the sudden calm was overwhelming
I can remember the single knob jutting from the sapphire door
As we tried on dozens of trends, we reached for the camera;
And with a click barely audible above the boisterous noise outside,
A memory was preserved
A memory only significant to us,
Holding essence in our friendship alone,
As no others could comprehend.
They would think nothing of it;
But I remember the relevance of it;
We formed with that single click,
A memory that would last a lifetime

I wrote this my freshman year of high school. I found it when looking back at some old files.
