Just human
I walk in the door a smile on my face
I tell them my day and get that's great
they walk through the house yelling why is this not done
I don't say a single thing
the harsh words bring tears to my eyes
they don't accept i tried
I clench my fists
I don't flinch as the belt descends
I'm just human
why do they expect me to be perfect
we all know I'm not
so why pretend different
I', just human
