Representing all of me
It's just a poem,
Black words on a white frame
How is this suppose to represent all of me?
Can it tell the pain,
Of watching the man I love
Love someone else?
Can it tell the giddiness I feel
When he looks at me and smiles,
The hopelessness when he looks away?
How can a word convey the feeling
Of hanging out with his girlfriend,
Wondering what she has that I don't.
Can words tell a person the truth
about another person?
Or is truth reflected
In the words left unsaid?
