Is this Nature?
Clouds are on a vacation
That bright ball of light
slowly raised his head
As if scared
Of any cloud hiding himself
By and by invaded the sky
Is it his pride?
That falls on earth
The poet noted
champagne gold and refulgent?
Pride because he's admired?
written about in many pages?
or is it that
without him there's no survival?
he reaches the summit
willing more to be seen
charmed by the plaudits
more limelight
But now..
he who was admired
he who was accoladed
ignored and branded cruel..
deemed deplorable
regarded with resent
scowls and sweat
Is that why he snatched away
our surviving drop of water?
Withered the plant
and scorched the earth?
Turned the lush green
to an insipid brown?
retaliating?
because he lost his pride???
