To be noticed is all I ask,
But no one seems to listen,
So I wear this mask,
Hoping maybe it'll glisten,
No one understands,
No one seems to see,
There's blood on these hands,
Unwashed even by the sea,
I'm stuck in the moment,
Broken beyond repair,
I have scars to show it,
This world is so unfair,
I sit home at night,
Lost in dark abyss,
With merely one fright,
That I won't be one to miss,
People speak lies,
People hold fault,
But in most people's eyes,
It's merely an assault...
