An Honset Verse of Longing
Inside, they are safe
The cruel, dark creatures
Protected only in remaining enigmas
Shattering themselves against cold, pressing walls
Of thoughts and dreams
Standing, blind, at the edge of the world
Wanting, hurting, to be free
Susceptible to the fact of fire
Between dire ache and higher reality
Mwe, mwe, mwe, they meek out in a scream
Eyes wide and mouths like baby birds
Secrets
Unrevealing
Inside, they are naïve
The new destructive, chaotic features
Rejecting happy lives to blanket in stained protection
Clotted senses laying heavy in their homes
Of wants and screams; mwe, mwe
Running blind, off the edge of the world
Into worn arms, on their path to be free
Forgetting the fact of torture
Between dire ache and higher reality
Their jail in clear view of taunting judging eyes
Eyes, dark rings; never come home, you hear
Desires
Becoming
