A girl alone and misunderstood
Almost grown but not quite set
Not doing the best she could
This world isn’t ready for her yet.
Letting the ones she loves down
By not doing her best
Tell me how this sounds
She doesn’t fit in with the rest.
Her mom’s still proud
No matter the situation
She outgoing and loud
With very little motivation.
She’s doing the best she can
To finish with her school
Her parents are her number one fan
And tell her she’ll never be just another fool.
