Be Happy
Help me understand
What its like,
Happiness
The word, the feeling
Happiness
So what is it?
Tell me
Happiness is the dancing water
On a cool September night
Happiness is a shining sun
Bringing tomorrow closer and closer
Happiness is a gift
Given to those who appreciate it
And some end up hating it
For Happiness sometimes
Brings on misery
Happiness is lying under the rain
Mouth perked up
Kissing the rain drops
Happiness is a truth
That was never a lie
Happiness is a person
That doesn’t need wings to fly
Happiness is a shadow
Of a person gone
But of memories still lingering
You see, Happiness ain’t cheap
It’s priceless
Happiness doesn’t buy you love
But it makes want the dress
It makes you say “I do”
And it shows a foreshadowing
Of the Happiness to come
But sometimes happiness vanishes
And you’re left with a letter
A rusty door knob
And a worn out sweater
Happiness has no ending
Just a beginning
So if you want happiness
Don’t wish for a happily ever after
Wish for Happiness
Period
Today. Tomorrow. Forever
