The girl with the dirty blond hair
The girl with the dirty blond hair
That she swears to death is brown; she is sure of it
She will not dare let anyone tell her different
But despite that she is not your stereotypical blond
She has a brain
A big one, full of many answers and even more questions
But not a brain to waste on math problems or history papers
No, she is not lazy
She just believes she has more important things to learn
And better things to do and in her defense she does
She needs that time to devote to imagining her perfect world
Her mind is plagued with great ideas
And no way to execute
them
But she will find a way though; I know she will.
That is just the kind of person she is.
She is an out of the box thinker
Very creative
Imaginative to no ends
She is ultimately a dreamer
But she has to be to go along with my schemes
To put up with my antics
To be my friend
She is definitely a piece of work
Especially when it comes to
Her obsession with Bollywood films and Communism
And how she will ramble on for hours about something obscure
and irrelevant.
And focus on the most minuscule insignificant things
People stare at her in awe, admiration and confusion
And she does not care
She never minds being the center of attention
But that is probably because she does not notice
She makes me laugh
She makes me smile
When I am around her it is okay to be different, to be unique
It is okay to be me
Because she accepts me for all my peculiarities and strange
interest,
All my faults, and imperfections
Just as I accept her for all her faults
And she has many
Because at the end of the day
She is my friend,
The girl with the dirty blond hair
