Santa Daddy
Daddy traded in his red for cameo and boots,
Now instead of elves, he is off with the troops,
Momma reads me all his letters, but it’s still not the same
As when he pulls up in his car and calls it his sleigh
I miss all his chuckles when he tucks me into bed,
I hope he can see the snow where ever it is he went
I know he’s coming home, but if I can have one request
I want daddy to be Santa for one more Christmas.
