Liars
I've been told "everything's okay.
It will turn out in the end.
You'll be alright."
Liar-
When I know that it's over
and I know that it's done.
But still I'm told "you're alright..."
Liar-
When you feel your heart will perish,
and the sky turns a foamy gray.
When someone comes along and says that everything will be okay...
You can't help but lower, weaken, downsize.
Because all that liars do,
with every word they say,
just brings you down.
Liar-
The dismay it brings inside,
with the things that they utter.
It's not fair, not just,
but still "everything will be okay."
Liar-
I don't believe it at all,
not a single syllable,
not a single letter,
not a single touch.
"I know what you're going through..."
Liar-
Liars in this world,
Alas! There are many.
And you bring me down and make me feel heavy.
"Everything's fine; you'll be alright"
But I know that you're just a liar.
