Ghost Eyes MAG
Sometimes I wake up with tears in my eyes
and I don't remember why
Sometimes I want you to tell me I'm good to you
but you never do
I guess I'm just there, floating and spilling
into your edges, like ink in water
staining them with colors that you don't like
Sometimes I chip away at myself until I fit into you
and I don't know why
Sometimes I count the stars
and wonder, if I had one for every scar,
would I light up bright and beautiful
I try to burn all bridges
I don't want you to see
the blues ghosting in my eyes
or the dark rings 'round my eyes
but sometimes all I want
is to be found by you
