"We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. "

Tennyson

The tall ships are arriving, their sails flying through the morning light.
Through and Through, onward and forwards.
They travel the world, by fire, to fight.
But they’ve left us behind.

All is calm as they slowly drift away to a vast horizon.
And we fear their destinations, faced with uncertainty and with fear.
But the tall ships still move, through and through, onward and forwards.
To a place of peril and of fright.

In the sky we can see a light that beacons our tall ships home.
A light that is often lost in the night.
But still the tall ships move, through and through, onward and forwards.
To find a light that could also be hope.

We love and we lose, fighting darkness either way.
Each day, facing an ocean of uncharted waters.
But the tall ships, they still move, through and through, onward and forwards.
As should we.
