Dear You
Withdrawn; is what you have made me,
Alone; is how you have left me,
Strangers; is what we have become.
We talk constantly with saying anything,
We say 'I love you', but do we really mean it?
When I think of what you have done, I shut down,
The rain falls torrent like down me face,
And my strong armour crumbles to ash,
My body tingles with numbness,
I am jealous,
The green envy is powerful.
Sentimental; is what you have made me,
Weak; is how you have left me,
Changing; is what we have become.
People don't understand,
Family doesn't understand,
Even me,
I don't.
But to tell you "Come back" and to cry in front of you,
Would be like a sharp, shiny dagger,
Piercing through your heart.
Hidden; is what you have made me,
Hurting; is how you have left me,
Disconnected; is what we have become.
Even though I'll never tell you,
Please leave her,
I know that you love her in a different way,
But understand that I'm dying inside,
My mind left in a sea of blackness and tragedy,
My body aching to the bone,
My soul forever wounded.
