Irresistable Force Paradox
The walls around him were painted
the same color as the walls around his mind.
He often spent hours at a time
staring at their stagnant hue
wishing he could smash right through them.
He despised their color.
He despised the way they suffocated him.
One day he decided he would break free
and leave the walls behind.
He stood up and cracked his knuckles.
With all his strength
he picked up
everything he owned
everything he knew
and everything he ever dreamed of
and threw himself against the cursed wall.
With a crack and a splinter, he fell back.
He opened his eyes.
Blood trickled from his nose and ears.
He frowned.
The wall had broken,
but so had he.
