Innocent Thief
In the open-air, breeze blows softly
I was unfamiliar to the world
Running among the breathing earth
I was 5 summers old
I discovered a Savannah of pink petals
I felt their tender gift
Their hue was fair crimson
A saccharine aftertaste
With a sentimental aroma
Birds seem seraphs hovering over heaven
With a soothing melody that warmed my heart
Painted pink petals paired to form a fair flower
I took the role of a bee
I stole their nectar-
