Working,
All by himself.
Nobody there to help him,
But himself.
People talk all
About how the
World needs to
Be cleaned and ridded
Of the pollution,
But this man:
Actually does it.
He doesn’t want
Money for it,
He enjoys doing it
And is glad to use
His little litter-picker-upper kit.
With his soft and kind smile,
Waving to people
As they pass by in their cars.
Some talk;
But he acts.
He cares about Earth,
Much more than himself.
He doesn’t talk.
He acts.
