Genesis
What is Genesis?
Commonly referenced by those who kneel
before a deity with supposed power beyond their own,
as the time when divine hands molded the cosmos.
Less frequently, it signifies true scientific beginnings.
If matter is indestructible, is wholly permanent,
how is the concept of creation even possible?
What defines a beginning? If an object can not have an end, then surely, it can have no origin as well?
For if Genesis is the first, what will be the last?
And in the absence of a starting point, how is man to measure our seemingly finite existence?
