I heard your scream over mine.
In the light, I saw the abyss calling me home.
Searching for the scream, not far from my own - a man in chains w/o a home.
Reaching my hand out towards you,
looking into eyes I once knew....
With blood stain tears you drew away,
letting love defeat all hate.
I could not leave a heart like mine to shrivel on the ground.
I gave my heart for you to love, and you never let me down.
I watch yours grow and listen to it pound...
