Why Her? Why Me?
Why do people poke fun at her?
Why don't they just look at what's on the inside instead?
Why don't they just leave her be?
She might be shorter than the others but she is just like any one else.
Why don't they just look at the real me?
When I get home I go straight to my books, my safety, my refuge.
I can't be made fun of here.
No one to laugh or stare.
This is one place I am safe.
