Stand Up
You got me in our box,
Lonely, quiet, and an inadequate match,
I try to climb out,
But your take your hand,
And shove me,
Back down
I cry,
Get some bruises and broken bones,
But finally tired of the abuse,
I muster up the courage,
To stand up and speak out,
I rise to my feet,
And let you know,
I hate your box!
As I scream,
I notice you increasingly,
Shrink into nothing,
But a worthless bully,
You cry and,
Feel the pain,
You so generously bestowed,
Into my shoulders,
Now no more,
Taking your hand,
To push me back down,
To the bottom,
Of your horrible box,
Because now I'm free,
From your ever so,
Constricting chains.
