Lurking
Black mask
silver eyeshadow
bright pink lips
pale white skin
bleach white teeth
Cherry red tongue.
She smiles barley ... enough for lips to part
She's not afraid of you, or me
She lurks in the shadows that our minds dare to even think of.
Black hair
Black feather
Purple highlight.
Beautiful body,
Black corset, black bottom (Cinderella style) purple high heels
Her long nails kept sharp.
She's where any soul dare not glare into.
Her looks can be deceitful, but when she opens her mouth,
flowers lose their petals,
Birds lose their feathers, the blue sky turns gray.
We hear her heels on the bare concrete,
her lips-smacking together, finger tapping ever so on her gown.
Gracefully, she picks up her black hammer
shes ready to go.
Hammer in hand, heel snapping on bare concrete with every step
Eyes wide and brown, lips barely parted
Scents of strawberries and vanilla swirl around her as the wind picks up.
Trees let go of their leaf babies
brown
red
orange
yellow...
all falling out of life.
Perfect picture.
Birds singing a lullaby to their babies, dead stop
Silence once the snap of her shoes are heard from the sharp corner.
She walks swinging the hammer, licking her lips, hips swaying, heels snapping, gown flowing, hair blowing, eyes wide, mouth opens...
Gone.
Dreams are a passage way to your imagination, if their dark or beautiful.
This girl...
Was me.
