No One Cares
The road is cold, the lights are dim.
The creatures are creeping up.
I don’t know what to do; I don’t know what to think.
The trees creep down and stare, the leaves fall.
There’s no one here, as I lay on the ground.
It get’s cooler as shadows creep around.
You can feel the cool breeze shivering through me.
The leaves fall like rain, the bushes shake.
I don’t get up; I just lay my head back down and fall asleep.
I wake, when I feel drops of water fall on my face.
I looked up, and it was raining.
It didn’t bug me; I was already suffering with the rain.
I ran away, because no one seemed to care.
I wonder if there’s anyone looking for me, or even missing me.
It’s all so terrible, but no one cares.
