I am a dreamer
I am a dreamer. My dreams linger in the emptiness in my head. They fall to nothing. They move swiftly in circles like a merry-go-round. I imagine I'm on a lily pad with one path this way and one the other way. One path is to follow my dreams; the other the path of temptations. Temptations that delay my life and all thoughts of my dreams. Suddenly, I feel a sweet relief as I walk quietly. I see vivid images of the past and what I want my future to be. It's so real, so close. It's like all my dreams have came to life. I struggle as I try to release all the tension and put my mind at ease.It all begins to fall like rain so I begin to catch it on my fingertips. My fingerprints are forever marked on each dream because I am a dreamer.
