Someone Like You
For those 7 hours
I experienced real happiness
I had forgotten what that felt like
But now it’s as if I don't know you anymore
You can’t tell someone you love them
Then walk out of their life like it’s the simplest thing
You’re not the person I fell in love with
But if I could go back to June
I’d do it all over again
And it pains me to move on
You just get scared you won't find someone
As sweet
Or as smart
Or as understanding
Or as funny
Or someone like you at all
And maybe that's the point
We’re supposed to meet new people, different people
Cause I guess if they're all copies
Of whom I once thought you were
I’ll never get out of this labyrinth of suffering
But if this labyrinth of suffering is with you
I don't know how much I mind it
