Languish
A vine that slips and weaves itself
It slowly snakes itself through my heart
Creating Cracks, holes, and Heartbreak
With every break-up
With every death
All grievances
A new vine grows
Within my heart
Tears me further apart
Leaves a new scar
Something else for my heart to deal with
The vine squeezes and pulls
Leaving my heart in pain
Reaching full bloom
Petals of a beautiful flower reach out
And hits the walls of my body
Trapped and confined
Completely bottled up
The flower rages against the walls
Though its not entirely their fault
This causes a fresh ache
Soon the flower will diminish
Autumn works in a chill
Kills off the gorgeous petals
But relieves the ache
Time passes
The flower is gone
Leaving fragile snowflakes behind
The vines recede
Everything mends
The walls forget
And a new seed is planted
The cycle begins
