Thorn

The thorn in my heart,
I can remove,
It hurts when I try,
You put it there,
but why?
You were my world, my life,
yet you hurt me.
The thorn poisons me slowly,
but kills my emotions, not me,
Many try to remove it,
but they only hurt me more.
Only you can take it away,
but you won't.
I'm sad when I'm angry,
I'm relaxed when I'm happy,
This thorn is poisoning my emotions,
yet you wont take it away.
