Hunger
Did u know
That if you paint the color blue
On your kitchen walls
It will make you lose your appetite?
So maybe
If I looked at the blue of the sky
It would lessen my hunger
For you
Maybe if we all laid in the grass
And watched the clouds go by
It would keep us starving
Yet we wouldn't have a clue
We'd be trapped
In a blue cage
Separating us from our love
Locking us in but
And at the same time
Keeping the pain
Out
So we'll be happier
As our ribs show through our skin
As our hunger
Slowly grows and fades
Just like your face
From my mind
