End of an Era
I can’t write
Can’t think
No longer skating on the brink
Of insanity and lies
Like knives
Piercing my skin
And out again
Back to the beginning
Spewing words on paper
Like puke in a bucket
Muckit
I’m done
Said all I needed to say
My mind’s a clean slate
No longer prancin’ and dancin’
All over the place
Like a jumble of marbles
Slip on one fall on your face
Knocked out cold
Comatose
A deeper sleep than most
Can achieve without closing their eyes
For a thousand years
Like Dorothy in the Land of Oz
As Coroner I shall pronounce
My mind is dead
I have no doubt.
