Bitter Words
Comfort yourself, you are not at fault.
You are not ugly, or stupid or mean.
What you seek, this love so-called,
Won’t show its face and will never be seen.
Love is fairytale-never-come-true,
A distant story, it won’t happen to you.
You tell yourself ‘she’s a heart-break-gone-bad’
But these words I speak are not of regret.
Not provoked by loneliness throughout my youth.
Love does not exist, and that is the truth.
