Watermelon Rain
When it drip-drip-drips outdoors, we eat
Our Watermelon inside,
Biting scarlet sweetness
Under yellow bulb-light, not sun
Spitting out seeds
Onto placemats, not earth
Slurping up juice
That runs down our arms,
And understanding
the Waterness
of Watermelon.

I love this! The figurative speech is amazing. Great work!
