Scars
I lay in bed thinking what life would be like without scars.
The reminiscence of the harsh times encountered throughout our lives.
Scars make people stronger.
Symbolizing pain, representing the mistakes we have made and guiding our decisions in future.
The scars from a fight show physical pain and hurt,
But the scars on ones’ heart empathize with the carrier.
They promote self-control.
They deny the power to love as much and care as strong.
Scars; they are there to remind us not make the same mistakes as we have so naively made before.
