What Am I To Do About Us?
They always said the time would come,
When life would change and we’d move on
But what I am supposed to do about us?
They told me things will be okay,
And four hours won’t feel far away
But what am I supposed to do about us?
You always said we’d make it through,
But now I don’t know what to do.
You’re close enough to touch,
Yet so out of reach.
You tell me that I’ll make the right choice,
My head and heart both have a loud voice,
Both are asking
What am I to do about us?
Your familiar hands used to guide the way,
Now they hold me begging me to stay.
I’m twisted and torn,
What am I to do about us?
I don’t know anymore.
What am I supposed to do about us?
