Where The Wild Things Are
As I lie here,
Unaware,
I think of your thoughts.
Lost in my mind
Are my own:
Out where the wild things are.
My own raging mind
Smiles ferociously
At the thought of your brilliant eyes.
I think I am in love,
And then I fall back out again
Losing you slowly.
Leaving my insecurities,
With a rotting brain;
The disease being
Without antidote
Or remedy.
I smile again,
And off are my thoughts again,
Off to where the wild things are.
