Finality and Freedom
I'm sitting here
Slowly being brought to tears
The rage the anger the resentment
Is all I can present
Through my look my actions and emotion
I'm done I'm finished
With all this I've witnessed
A father or a friend
Does it matter if he can't defend
His son's one love
The one thing he needed above all else
This I tell you is purgatory, no
It is h***
The one person I need
Has been stripped from my grasp
All I need is her
To hear her laugh, see her smile
Smell her sweet perfume but all the while
The tears well up inside
Like a swarm bees ready to fly
They need to be set free
They need to be released
This tension, this hurt.
It has a cure
It can be fixed
By you my dear
Grab my hand
Follow my lead
Let's take this stand
You and me, it's our time to be freed
