Society
Society is wrong. Everything is wrong.
You know the girl they talk about because she's interested in guys and girls.
Hiding truth behind silence. Pain behind smiles.
Society judged her.
Barbie, showing girls at young ages what "perfect" is.
If Barbie was real, she'd weigh 110 lbs. I'm 15. I weigh more.
Today, Marilyn Monroe would be considered "fat".
Commercials, showing girls how they should look like, pushing them to their limit.
Society pressured her.
When people my age are pushed to their breaking point.
They'll do anything to get away from the pain.
When you're on the edge, close to falling.
When she wishes it would all go away,
Society pushed her.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me?
Not true.
She's the girl that looks strong, doesn't care what anyone thinks.
She's an old building. Strong, bold, yet fragile, ready to break.
They push her down as she picks herself up.
Society broke her.
One word can be a trigger, gun pointing at her heart.
Silence fills her mind, inviting in darkness, hope fades.
She smiles as she's breaking.
Her words, shaking.
It can all end with her decision.
As the bullet finds its end, so does she.
Society killed her.
