In My Heart
What impossible fortunes from a lucky affair
Such moments of bliss that we kindly do share
Aside from the abuse; troubled times while shaded
Our love had blossomed without a pedal left faded
Our hearts are beated, battered, and neglected
But together they're warm, healed, and protected
From hurricanes to tornadoes, monsoons and storms
Our love will guide us to shelter, us in their forms
Although your body is beaten by my fists
Your heart still calls out, no moment to resist
Featured in your words are emotions held back
But deep inside, there is nothing you lack
You are my one, you are my all; the one who keeps me standing
You are my pillow, you are my cushion; my only soft landing
I just want you to know that I love you with all my heart
Through sickness and health, but til' death do us part.
